2010 roundup
31 December 2010
Here's to 2011!!!
As you might have guessed my ambition of starting my blog in 2010 didnt really work out. Too many painfull things got in the way, but its new years eve and tonight im giving myself a fresh start :)
Tomorrow is the first day on our lease for our new house, we got the keys on wednesday and wont be moving in until next week so im hoping to avoid the 'Saturday flit, short sit' superstition. Heres hoping it will make all the difference.
We're moving from a very dark two bed apartment to a nice bright 3 bed semi-d. I cant wait to start cooking in the massive kitchen. Im hoping to document the move here, so keep an eye out for pics.
Im going to do a bit of a picture post from the last few months this evening so please check them out.
Wishing you all a very happy New Year!!!
xx lou

Quote of the day: Disney
Source Disney's The Princess Diaries
"Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear. The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all. From now on you'll be traveling the road between who you think you are and who you can be. The key is to allow yourself to make the journey."

Testing
I'm just trying out Blogpress for my iPhone.
Hopefully having access to my blog on the move will allow me to update it more regularly.

Dear Blog....
I am so sorry for abandoning you so early into our relationship.
But something very special has been in my life for the last week or so...
Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann 2010 was in Cavan. It probably still is but I'm back in Dublin for work.
It was an experience of a lifetime. I have never seen so many people in the town, there was a really friendly atmosphere, and I bumped into people that I haven't seen in years. Its funny how much life changes.
I'm going to be going through a pretty big change in the next few weeks, so I hope you can forgive my erratic blogging. I'll tell you all about it very soon.
xx

Don't you just love the weekend
Why does time have to go so fast? We went out to visit my parents on Saturday, it was so nice out that we decided to bring Tinkerbell and my mums dog for a walk. The sun was splitting the stones, and the views were something else. Unfortunately our digital SLR is broken so we weren't able to take any photos.
We watched a few of my favorite TV shows too. I love Rookie Blue definitely my favorite new show of the season. I love how Andy is always getting stuck in the middle.
I'm also watching the new series of Mistresses on BBC 1 HD, its amazing. The actresses are so talented and Joanna Lumley is brilliant as Katie's mum. Its kind of like the British Desperate Housewives except better.
My guilty pleasure is Big Brother, I love it and had to watch the last season as I had been glued to the previous 10. I don't really have a favorite housemate though.
Thanks again for reading

Am I alone in my love for TV? I've just finished watching this weeks True Blood. It was brilliant as always.
My project for the weekend was supposed to be to frame these pictures of flowers that I took. They aren't great quality as I only took them with my iPhone but they look OK printed to normal photo size (4"x6"). Hopefully next weekend I'll be able to show you pictures of them hung up.
I'm sorry if my posts are a bit all over the place, if you'd like me to stick to one topic I'm open to suggestions.
xx Louise
